Today, Karlie (Rhett’s mom) joins our podcast to talk about day to day life with a deaf dog, she also talks with us about the volunteer work she does with saving Texas dogs from kill shelters, and reminds us that she has a new CHILDREN’S BOOK coming out later this year about Rhett, her Blue Heeler :)
Yes, we did a “Podcast Audio Recording” because Karlie does have very good practiced speech, and a cochlear implant, so we were able to speak through the entire interview but for those interested, you can see us using American Sign Language on the video recording of our interview, below.
